Innocent Love

A 6 yr old boy was in the market with his 4 yr old sister. Suddenly the boy found that his sister was lagging behind. He stopped and looked back. His sister was standing in front of a toy shop and was watching something with great interest. The boy went back to her and asked, “Do you want something?” The sister pointed at the doll. The boy held her hand and like a responsible elder brother, gave that doll to her. The sister was very very happy… The shopkeeper was watching everything and getting amused to see the matur behaviour of the boy… Now the boy came to the counter and asked the shopkeeper, “What is the cost of this Doll, Sir? !” The shopkeeper was a cool man and had experienced the odds of life. Presence of mind

A student of mine decided to apply for a job. Applicants were supposed to apply only online.

The fee to be paid in advance for General Candidates was Rs. 100.

For Reserved Category candidates, no fee was payable. Being from Reserved Catagory, he was exempted from paying Application Fee.

He opened this organisation’s Website & started filling up the columns one after another. Being exempted from paying application fee,  he did not fill up columns connected with fee but when he tried to submit his application, the system will not accept. In spite of several repeated attempts, he was unable to submit his application.

He asked me if I could help. Although I am not computer savvy still I had a look at the online form & could read that “No Column Should Be Left Blank”. I made him take out his cheque book & fill in the columns:

-Mode of Payment: Cheque No …

-Date …

-Bank Name …

-Branch …

-Application Fee Amt Paid 000

(In the last column I told him to write 000 in place of 100)

Now as all columns were filled. He pressed SUBMIT & the system accepted his Application Form.

HealthyEatingTips

We all need a balance of protein, fat, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals in our diets to sustain a healthy body. You don’t need to eliminate certain categories of food from your diet, but rather select the healthiest options from each category. Protein  gives you the energy to get up and go—and keep going—while also supporting mood and cognitive function. Too much protein can be harmful to people with kidney disease, but the latest research suggests that many of us need more high-quality protein, especially as we age. That doesn’t mean you have to eat more animal products—a variety of plant-based sources of protein each day can ensure your body gets all the essential protein it needs. Fat . Not all fat is the same. While bad fats can wreck your diet and increase your risk of certain diseases, good fats protect your brain and heart. In fact, healthy fats—such as omega-3s—are vital to your physical and emotional health. Including more healthy fat in your diet can hel...
